TELETHERAPY: I provide therapy via a HIPAA- compliant video conferencing platform. It provides ease, convenience, and increased accessibility. For clients unable to engage in teletherapy, if clinically appropriate, phone sessions can be offered. I am licensed in Massachusetts. CANCELLATION POLICY: A minimum of 48-hours cancellation notice is required in order to avoid fees. The full session fee will be charged for cancelling/rescheduling within 48 hours of the session. EDUCATION: 1998 BA (cum laude) Psychology and Sociology, Tufts University 2010 PhD Clinical Psychology, University at Albany, State University of New York 2012 Postdoctoral Residency, Tobacco Cessation and Primary Care Behavioral Health Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial (ENRM) Veterans Hospital WORK HISTORY: After completing my postdoctoral residency in tobacco cessation and primary care behavioral health, I became a psychologist and subsequently the co-director of the tobacco cessation program at ENRM Veterans Hospital in Bedford, MA until 2016. From 2016-2017, I worked as an outpatient psychologist at Psychological Care Associates and as an integrated care psychologist at Commonwealth Pediatrics. From 2017-2021, I continued to work as an outpatient psychologist at Psychological Care Associates. I provided treatment in both English and Spanish to children, adolescents, and adults of all ages. I provided treatment focusing on anxiety, panic, phobias, OCD, trauma, chronic medical conditions, elimination disorders, insomnia, chronic headaches, mild depression, adjustment difficulties, anger management and childhood behavioral difficulties. I utilized cognitive behavioral and acceptance and commitment therapies, motivational enhancement, parent guidance, psychoeducation, relaxation/stress management skills, mindfulness, and biofeedback to improve clients' ability to regulate their mood, behaviors, physiological responses, and quality of life.
